Art. 1 – Scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to orders received by Tondeur Diffusion via its Tondeur Education site and are valid at the time the order is placed. These conditions are subject to change at any time, provided these changes are displayed on our site.

Art. 2 – Order and Availability

We will respond to your order within the limits of available stock and within the limits of the stock available from our suppliers. Since our site is not updated in real time, there may be a discrepancy between actual stock and virtual stock. If you order multiple books, some of which are in stock and others on order, the average time before shipment will be 15 days. Some items may also be temporarily or permanently unavailable from our suppliers. The unavailability of one or more items does not engage the responsibility of Tondeur Diffusion. By confirming your order, you accept all of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. For any questions regarding an order, cancellation, or exchange, please do not hesitate to contact us. Orders placed online will be confirmed by email. They are processed as soon as payment is received.

Art. 3 – Prices

Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included (VAT), excluding shipping costs. These prices are subject to change at any time without notice, but we will apply the rates in effect that were indicated to you at the time of your order. For destinations outside Belgium, customs duties or other taxes (local VAT, import duties, etc.) may be payable. These duties are the responsibility of the customer. All orders are billed and payable in euros only. The products remain our property until full payment is made.

Art. 4 – Payment

You can make your payment by bank transfer only in euros, payable to Tondeur Diffusion and credited to the account using the BIC code GEBABEBB and the IBAN code BE94 2100 4024 1514. Your order will only be processed upon receipt of payment.

Art. 5 – Delivery

Delivery is made to the address you provided when placing your order. The risks are your responsibility from the date the ordered books leave our premises. The average delivery times given are indicative only and may vary depending on the destination. In the event of a delay in delivery or a stock shortage at our suppliers, Tondeur Diffusion cannot be held liable.

Art. 6 – Returns and Refunds

If the ordered books do not suit you, you have a period of 15 days from their receipt to return them in their original packaging, in perfect condition, and accompanied by their invoice. You will be fully refunded via a credit note for your next purchases, excluding return shipping costs which remain your responsibility. Damaged books will not be accepted. If an item is defective, you also have a period of 15 days to return it to us in its original packaging, accompanied by a justified request and the invoice. It will be exchanged. In these conditions, the shipping costs will be refunded.

Art. 7 – Disclaimer of Liability

The books sold on our site comply with the legislation in force. Tondeur Diffusion disclaims all liability if the delivered item does not comply with the legislation of the delivery country. Our liability cannot be engaged in case of failure to meet our contractual obligations due to a stock shortage or unavailability of products, in case of strikes in the shipping services, or in case of force majeure (disaster, fire, etc.). Tondeur Diffusion’s liability cannot be engaged for any errors in the presentation of products; the photographs, texts, and illustrations of these products are not contractual. Likewise, it cannot be held responsible for the content of websites to which hyperlinks may refer from our site.

Art. 8 – Protection of Personal Data

Tondeur Diffusion processes customer information with the strictest confidentiality. The information requested when you place your order is essential for its proper processing. This data is recorded on a secure server and encrypted. In accordance with European GDPR guidelines, you have the right to access and rectify your data.

Art. 9 – Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject to European Law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Brussels.
